At a memorial service for Paula Calvert, the most beautiful song the choir sang was: HERE I AM,,WHOM SHALL I SEND GO AND TELL THE GOOD NEWS ...YOU ANSWERED THE CALL SO WILLINGLYi will go where you send i surender to your plan
I enjoyed looking at your links, particularly the kid's web. Thanks, and may you bear much fruit for our Lord Jesus Christ in Japan. May many Japanese souls come to know Jesus as their Savior.
Hi Cindy, Thanks for the link to your blog. it was a nice surprise to get a response from another missionary in japan to my post on Amber's blog. I think i just missed you when i was in Niigata, the Doulos was there in June '07. Efrain was a very good host bringing us around and he came to the ship with afew students too. I remember vividly the coziness of your church and the pastor bringing us up to the rooftop with sweeping views of the city. I also recognise Yui from your webalbums, she was a local volunteer with the Doulos. unfortunately i've lost contact with her but last i heard she took some tests to be a japanese teacher overseas. I was also in contact with Keiko, a petite girl with glasses in Efrain's class. Please send my regards if you happen to see them. I'd like to tell you more about myself and my plans to serve in Japan through email. Also i'd like to contribute some photos of my country (Malaysia) for your class discussion. Please feel free to email me whenever. I'll be praying for your ministry there and the wonderful people of Japan. Blessings, Elaine.
Hi Cindy. Glad to hear you have gotten settled back in japan. We will keep you and your fellow workers for Christ in our prayers. Your website is cool.
Hello there! Well, I hadn't gotten on your site for so long and when I was going through my favorites I saw your name and thought gee I wonder what Cindy has been up to. What a suprise to see that you are again in Japan. We'll keep you in our prayers for a wonderful mission there. Things are fine here. Racheal will be home for spring break in another week. She is still enjoying college and doing just wonderful. She is planning on going into special ed now. Bekka will graduate in June. My darling granddaughters are all grown-up. Rick is working at the Magna Donnelly plant in Newaygo now. The plant in Grand Haven closed after Thanksgiving. His commute went from 5 mins. to an hour. He only has had to stay over one night at a motel because of bad weather. This winter has been brutal, snow, snow and more snow. If I recall right you would probably have loved this winter! I'm still busy doing church things. Still in choir [only 8 of us, all women]. Laura Valk, Ann Archambault, Ruth Nielsen, Pat Erickson, Martha Colburn, Carole Kocke and Diane Cross. We have a great time. Well, I hope your well and May God Bless you on your new mission. Love, Faye and Rick
